GRATUITOUS AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL BLURB:
• I am a lady. Wild, fierce, and free.
• I have an insatiable craving for knowledge.
• I am aching for adventure.
• I’m like the night and the storm in the heart of the sun.
• I am naturally fascinated by light, sound, color, texture, form.
• I am a bibliophile and word junkie, so I appreciate proper grammar and a diverse vocabulary. I dig crosswords.
• I am profoundly moved by music. I play piano and guitar and sing, and my life constantly has some sort of soundtrack. There is a deep pleasure that comes in hearing someone else sing what you feel more perfectly than you could ever say it.
• I am host to a voracious case of wanderlust. I’ve lived in Nepal and visited China, and I intend to make it to many more countries as soon as possible. I adore European culture and cannot wait to travel there- Ireland and Rome most especially. I am very, very Irish, and love my heritage.
• I am an unabashed nerd. I memorize things like digits of Pi for fun. I’m a typography geek. I probably have more typefaces on my computer than you have words in your profile. I love identifying typefaces on ads, signs, albums, etc. It is not uncommon for me to blurt out ‘hey, I have that font!’ when looking at someone’s shirt or the ending credits of a movie.
THINGS I LOVE: good food and wine, and cooking when I can, the thrill of an adventure, roller coasters, being ridiculous with friends, Catholicism and everything that pertains to it, all manner of board games, creating beautiful and meaningful experiences with other people, walking in summer thunderstorms, laying in the grass, the bustle of a big city at night, waking up to morning fog, hiking in the Himalayas, seeing a favorite band live, reading a handwritten love letter, people-watching, the beginning few days of each season when the scent of the air changes slightly, cavernous bookstores, beaches, live music, vine charcoal, street photography, watching shows marathon-style, history, and sarcasm.
